Medical treatment results

Cardiac Imaging Clinic Iidabashi (CVIC) has been accumulating results since its opening in November 2009 as a clinic specializing in cardiac diagnostic imaging centered on the heart. Requests for cardiac imaging performed at CVIC are mainly from university hospitals and core hospitals in the vicinity of Tokyo, as well as from clinic teachers and various types of medical institutions. According to the 2019 survey of the Cardiovascular Disease Medical Care Survey (JROAD) 8 *, the number of cardiac MRIs was 45,499 and the number of cardiac CTs was 509,083.

* A national survey led by the Japanese Circulation Society since 2004.

The number of cardiac MRIs performed at CVIC is said to be outstanding considering that there are more than 8,000 hospitals and more than 100,000 clinics nationwide. It is said that the facilities that can take a heart examination first are limited, and the existence of a doctor who can make a diagnosis is also an important factor. It can be said that this is a track record unique to CVIC, which specializes in diagnostic imaging of university hospitals and hearts.

The annual average for each facility (excluding CVIC) nationwide is 30 cardiac MRIs and 334 cardiac CTs, which also shows that the number of CVIC cardiac examinations is outstanding.

In the medical field, we believe that it is important to accumulate such achievements. We believe that the fact that teachers from nearby university hospitals, core hospitals, and clinics can request examinations is due to the evaluation of the environment in which rapid examination of the heart is required and the accumulated achievements.
